Real Canadian maple syrup in Vancouver: on the shelf in person at Urban Fare, and shipped daily from our Vancouver facility to anywhere in Canada.
Most maple syrup sold in Vancouver grocery stores is blended industrial syrup from a long list of unnamed farms. Maple Terroir is different. Every bottle traces to one family farm in Quebec's Appalachian Mountains, and the company runs its Canadian distribution from a Vancouver facility. Vancouver customers can find Maple Terroir on the shelf in person at Urban Fare, or order the full syrup range online for next-day local delivery.
The same syrup goes from this facility to Japan, South Korea, the United States, and Mexico. Vancouver is the first stop, and Vancouver customers get the same product the international markets pay a premium for.
Every bottle single-origin from Quebec. All four Grade A classifications, sized from 50 mL travel bottles to 1 L jugs.

The short version of why a 47-year-old Quebec sugarbush has its Canadian shipping address in BC.
The Lytton family tapped its first trees in 1978 on a Quebec Appalachian-foothills property the family had owned since the 1950s. For the first three decades the syrup sold mostly to Quebec wholesalers and a small set of international buyers who flew in to taste it. The Vancouver chapter started in the mid-2010s when the second generation moved west and the family decided to consolidate Canadian distribution closer to the Pacific export channels they were already serving.
Three of Maple Terroir's five international markets sit across the Pacific. Japan was the first to recognise single-origin Quebec maple as a premium category, and Maple Terroir is now known in Japanese specialty retail as the number-one value maple syrup brand. South Korea followed shortly after, then mainland China and Taiwan. Vancouver is geographically the right port for those routes, and the air-freight times from YVR to Narita, Incheon, Pudong, and Taoyuan are all under twelve hours.
For local customers, the practical result is that orders placed before 1 PM Pacific ship the same day from a warehouse in Vancouver, not from a transcontinental Quebec address. The syrup itself still comes from one Quebec farm. The fulfillment, the customer support phone line (+1 604-324-6556), and the wholesale logistics all run out of Vancouver. When you call about a stock question at Urban Fare, the person who answers is on Pacific time.

The maple syrup is harvested and bottled in Quebec at the family farm in the Appalachian Mountains, in operation since 1978. The Vancouver facility handles Canadian distribution, customer service, and international shipping. The syrup itself is 100 percent single-origin Quebec product.
Maple Terroir offers all four Grade A classifications from the same Quebec farm: Golden (delicate, harvested earliest), Amber (rich, the most versatile), Dark (robust, deeper colour), and Very Dark (strong, harvested latest). You can find Maple Terroir in person at Urban Fare in Vancouver, and the full syrup range is available online at mapleterroir.com, Amazon, Costco, and Walmart, with same-day local Vancouver delivery. Sizes range from 50 mL travel bottles to 1 L jugs.
Most maple syrup sold in Vancouver grocery stores is blended from many farms across Quebec and Ontario. Maple Terroir is single-origin from one family farm, triple-certified organic (Ecocert, Canada Organic, USDA Organic), and the only Canadian maple producer holding all three certifications at once.
